Hovara — Yoga Studio & Wellness HTML Template

Description

Hovara is a free, production-ready HTML template for a yoga studio, meditation space, or small wellness practice. The visual direction takes its cues directly from current Dribbble yoga shots — most prominently Paperpillar’s photography-led, card-driven landing pages — rather than the safe editorial-and-cream trope that dominates most yoga templates. The result is a quietly modern site: large warm photography, soft 24 px rounded cards, generous whitespace, and a single-family Manrope typography system that holds the whole page together without resorting to a second display font.

The home page leads with a typographic hero: Move slowly, breathe deeply, arrive fully. A 4:5 photograph of a yoga student in soft warrior pose dominates the right side, with two floating cards layered over it — one showing the studio’s class count, the other showing the next live class, its teacher, remaining spots, length, level, and drop-in price. Beneath that, a full-bleed photograph of a Saturday morning vinyasa class anchors the page, followed by a six-card class-type grid (Slow Restore, Vinyasa Flow, Pranayama, Yin, Ashtanga Mysore, Sound Bath), each with its own photo, duration, level pill, and drop-in price.

What ships in the download

Five fully built pages, all responsive across 375 / 768 / 1024 / 1440, all hand-written semantic HTML with vanilla CSS and a single tiny JS file:

  • Home (index.html) — typographic hero with floating-card photography, full-bleed photo panel, six class-type cards, photo-split studio teaser, four-instructor grid, three-card testimonial wall, four-stat strip, three-tier membership teaser, footer CTA card
  • Classes (classes.html) — six class types in detail, each with a 4:3 photo, frequency, "best for" notes, and what to bring; "first class essentials" photo split with numbered checklist; six-question first-class FAQ
  • Schedule (schedule.html) — weekly schedule with all-week + per-day tab filtering, 30+ class slots showing time, length, teacher, studio room, level pill, and book button; monthly closure note; three-card upcoming workshops teaser
  • Studio (studio.html) — practice manifesto, four founding teachers with bios and lineages, six-card "the space" breakdown (two studios, tea room, changing rooms, reception, garden), four-stat strip, six-row timeline since 2014
  • Contact (contact.html) — studio address with photo split, full first-class booking form (name, email, phone, class, date, experience, notes), six-card visiting essentials (transport, parking, accessibility, what we provide, children, pregnancy), three-card press / careers / partnerships block

Design system

Hovara runs entirely on CSS custom properties — palette, type scale, spacing rhythm, motion easing, layout tokens, and the soft-rounded radius system all live as a single :root block at the top of assets/css/styles.css. The earthy palette is deliberately distinct from every other free template on html.design: cream #F5EFE3 base, sage #7A8C5C primary with deep #4F5C39 and soft #C8D2B5 companions, clay #C2855E as the single saturated CTA accent, and a warm ink #1F1A14 instead of pure black. The typography uses Manrope as a single family across display (700–800 weight, −0.05em letter-spacing) and body, with JetBrains Mono only for tiny mono captions and tabular numerics — both served from Google Fonts.

Who it’s for

Use Hovara as the foundation for a yoga studio, a meditation space, a Pilates studio, a small wellness practice, a sound-healing studio, an Ayurvedic clinic, or any practitioner whose marketing surface needs to read as quietly confident, photography-first, and explicitly not chasing trends. The card grid absorbs real studio photography without modification; the warm earthy palette reads instantly as “modern wellness” without falling into the lavender-and-pastel trope.

Other free templates from the same studio

Hovara joins a growing free catalogue on html.design — every template ships with the same craft level, all of them free to download and use. If a yoga studio isn’t what you need today, look at Vornu for a SaaS project-management tool, Sonomir for a synthwave music label, Hopta for a warm pet food subscription brand, Recto for a type-only photography portfolio, Talasea for a boutique hotel, Volta for a high-energy fitness brand, Axioma for a left-rail creative agency, Aurix for a dark-luxury SaaS landing page, Solara for a restaurant, or Meridia for a navy-and-brass real estate site. Each one is built around a different visual recipe, and all of them are free.

Customising

Open assets/css/styles.css and edit the :root token block — change --clay to recolour the call-to-action, change --sage-deep to recolour the stats strip, or change the typography tokens to switch families. Swap the photography in assets/img/ with your own studio shots and instructor portraits (recommended dimensions and a full credit list are in CREDITS.md). The HTML across the five pages is short enough to read end-to-end in twenty minutes.
